ARK Rules

1.1. When placing the first teleporter near a resource-rich area, the player must leave it set to public access.

1.2. If a teleporter already exists in a resource-rich area, building another one in the same area is forbidden.

1.3. Blocking spawn points is forbidden.

1.4. Building anything on resource spawn spots is forbidden.

1.5. Giving away (handing over or distributing for free) rare or hard-to-get items, resources and dinos is forbidden. ¹

1.6. Exploiting any game or mod bug is forbidden. ¹

2.1. Taking or reserving an oversized area is forbidden — use only what you need for your base, with common sense. If you go too far, the staff will step in on the size of the base with no prior warning and remove some structures.

2.2. Leaving harvesting structures outside the limits of your main base is forbidden.

2.3. Leaving the Show Range of any item from any mod turned on is forbidden.

2.4. Preventing, blocking or hindering the passage of players, dinos and boats across the map is forbidden.

2.5. Blocking player and resource spawn points is forbidden. When building your base, always leave room for dinos of every size to get through.

2.6. Placing more than one teleporter near a resource-rich area is forbidden — if one is already there, do not build another.

2.7. It is the player's responsibility to keep an eye on the decay timer of their structures. Losing them to decay is treated as leaving the server, and the system does its clean-up as usual. This matters to keep the servers stable and tidy, with no wasted load.

2.8. If it keeps happening, the staff removes all of the tribe's structures, no matter who built them.

3.1. Leaving dinos scattered across the map is forbidden, whatever the reason.

3.2. Leaving dinos on wandering is forbidden.

3.3. Leaving dinos on aggressive is forbidden.

3.4. Leaving dinos breeding non-stop is forbidden.

3.5. Interfering with another player's taming is forbidden, even before any torpor has been applied. Once a player has started chasing a dino to tame it, any kind of interference is forbidden.

3.6. For dinos that must be killed so a tameable version can spawn, any kind of interference is forbidden as well. Whoever did the summon must carry out the whole taming.

4.1. Always create your tribe as soon as you start on a server.

4.2. Do not merge, swap, recruit or kick people from a tribe unless you are 100% sure of what you are doing.

Applies to any mod installed on the servers.

5.1. Calling other players to kill a dino and/or boss in order to give away the dropped loot is forbidden.

5.2. Calling other players to kill a dino and/or boss just to make engram unlocks easier is forbidden.

5.3. Summoning a boss on purpose near another player's base is forbidden.

Bans are applied as follows ²:

² The first ban may also be permanent if the player breaks a Zero Tolerance rule.

Only the Administrator who issued the ban may review an unban request. No other Administrator is allowed to review bans they did not issue.

By playing on our servers, we take it that every player is aware of and agrees with our rules. So if you break one, you are subject to the penalties applied and/or a ban.

Excuses for breaking a rule are not accepted. So do not guess or assume — if you have any doubt, ask the Staff on our Discord first.

Rules change as new maps, mods and bugs show up. That is why they may be changed with no notice at all. Drop by here now and then to check what is and is not allowed.

If you are unsure about what you can or cannot do, or you read a rule that was not 100% clear, do not do it. Clear it up first by asking the ARK Staff — they are the ones who will explain it properly.
