Terms of Use

1.1. CZSBrasil is an independent, non-profit community of players, dedicated to running game servers and fostering a healthy entertainment environment for its members.

1.2. The community is not a shop, does not sell products and does not provide paid services. Everything is kept running collaboratively by the administration team and by the voluntary contributions of players.

1.3. Access to the servers and to the community is free and open to every player, with no payment requirement whatsoever.

2.1. Nature of the contribution

Financial contributions made to CZSBrasil are voluntary donations, given of the donor's own free will, without any kind of coercion, obligation or condition for taking part in the community. A player who chooses not to donate keeps full access to the servers and to all the community's basic features.

2.2. Legal framing

Donations qualify as an act of liberality, in accordance with current Brazilian legislation:

• Art. 538 of the Brazilian Civil Code (Law No. 10.406/2002): Defines a donation as the contract by which a person, out of liberality, transfers assets or advantages from their estate to another's. Every contribution to CZSBrasil is voluntary and driven solely by the donor's wish to support the community.
• Art. 540 of the Brazilian Civil Code: Establishes that a remuneratory donation, or one made in recognition of the recipient's merit, does not lose its character of liberality. Any benefits granted as a thank-you do not change the nature of the donation.

2.3. Not a consumer relationship

Because this is a voluntary donation — and not the sale of products or the provision of services for payment — this relationship does not qualify as a consumer relationship under Arts. 2 and 3 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code (Law No. 8.078/1990), which defines a service as an activity supplied on the consumer market for payment.

2.4. Where the money goes

All amounts received as donations go exclusively towards:

• Maintaining and running the game servers
• Hosting and technical infrastructure costs
• Software licences and necessary tools
• Improvements and updates to the servers and to the community

2.5. Donations made directly on the website

Besides the external store, CZSBrasil offers a support page on its own website, paid by Pix. In that case:

• The benefit is delivered automatically as soon as the payment is confirmed by the platform, usually within seconds.
• Delivery depends on your Steam and/or Epic account being linked to your player profile on the website. Keeping that link correct before donating is the donor's responsibility.
• The benefit period is added to whatever the player already has, never reduced.
• Accounts with an active ban on the servers cannot donate through that page.
• The Pix code generated has a limited validity. Once it expires, simply start a new donation.

2.6. Irreversibility

Because this is a voluntary donation and not a commercial transaction, the amounts donated are not subject to refund, chargeback or return, except in situations expressly provided for by law or by decision of the administration in exceptional cases.

3.1. As a way of saying thank you for the donors' generosity, the community may grant benefits inside the game servers, such as cosmetic items, gameplay advantages or a distinguished status.

3.2. These benefits are a gesture of recognition and gratitude, and do not constitute a product, a service or a contractual consideration.

3.3. The CZSBrasil administration reserves the right to create, change, replace or discontinue any benefit at any time, without prior notice, according to the needs of the community and of the servers.

3.4. Benefits are granted for exclusive use inside the CZSBrasil servers, and are non-transferable and personal, tied to the donor's account.

3.5. Should a server be shut down, a platform be migrated, or any event make the continuity of the benefits impossible, the community is not obliged to refund donated amounts nor to transfer benefits to other servers or platforms.

4.1. By taking part in the CZSBrasil community, the player undertakes to:

• Respect every member of the community and the administration and moderation team;
• Not use cheats, hacks, exploits, bugs or any resource that harms the experience of other players;
• Not engage in harassment, discrimination, hate speech or any offensive conduct;
• Follow the specific rules of each server, published on Discord and on the community's official channels;
• Not attempt to defraud, manipulate or get around the donation and benefit systems.

4.2. Breaking the rules may result in a warning, temporary suspension or permanent ban, at the administration's discretion, whether or not the player is a donor.

4.3. Being a donor grants no immunity from penalties. The community rules apply equally to every player, with no exception.

4.4. In the event of a ban for breaking the rules, benefits obtained by donation will be revoked, with no right to a refund of the amounts donated.

5.1. The name "CZSBrasil", logos, artwork, texts and other original content produced by the community are the property of CZSBrasil and may not be reproduced, distributed or used without prior authorisation from the administration.

5.2. The games hosted on the community's servers are the property of their respective developers and publishers. CZSBrasil has no official connection with those companies.

6.1. CZSBrasil strives to keep the servers available and stable, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled maintenance, updates, technical failures or force majeure may lead to temporary downtime.

6.2. The community is not liable for the loss of progress, items or data in-game arising from instability, game bugs, developer updates or any event outside the administration's control.

6.3. The administration reserves the right to shut down, migrate or modify any server at any time, according to the needs and viability of the community.

7.1. CZSBrasil respects its members' privacy and does not share personal data with third parties, except where necessary for the services to work (such as payment platforms for processing donations).

7.2. When making a donation, the player may provide personal data to the payment platform in use. The processing of that data is governed by the privacy policy of the respective platform.

7.3. The community operates in accordance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13.709/2018 — LGPD) as regards the processing of its members' personal data.

8.1. CZSBrasil operates in accordance with the Brazilian Civil Rights Framework for the Internet (Law No. 12.965/2014), which guarantees, among other principles:

• Freedom of expression, communication and thought (Art. 3, I);
• Preservation of the participatory nature of the network (Art. 3, VII);
• Freedom of the business models promoted on the internet (Art. 3, VIII).

9.1. By making a donation, the donor declares that they:

• Act of their own free will, without any coercion;
• Have full legal capacity to perform the act, under Brazilian legislation;
• Understand that the contribution is a donation, and not the purchase of a product or service;
• Understand and accept the terms described here;
• Are aware that the donation is irreversible, unless the law provides otherwise.

10.1. CZSBrasil may update these Terms of Use at any time, whenever needed to reflect changes in the community, in the servers or in current legislation.

10.2. Changes take effect from the date the updated version is published. Continuing to use the community's servers and services after publication will be taken as acceptance of the new terms.

10.3. We recommend that members check this page from time to time.

11.1. These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil.

11.2. Any omissions or situations not covered by these terms will be resolved by the CZSBrasil administration, observing the principles of good faith and reasonableness.

11.3. Tolerating or not immediately enforcing any provision of these terms does not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce it in the future.

11.4. Should any clause of these Terms be held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining ones stay in full force and effect.
